I am having trouble adding an active link with image for Facebook and Paypal. I have seen other sites that have these so I know it is possible. I would also like to link to a You Tube video that I had with our old chorus website.
I want to add these to the Index [Home] page. Suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
I am using a Marinelli theme. Don't know if that makes any diffrence.

Can you describe the issue you're having? I had no problems putting both on my home page

I was trying to put the facebook icon in its own block below the links panel. I can insert a new menu/block with a text link but haven't figured out how to insert a graphic into a separate block.

I am having a similar problem with trying to set up a page to allow members to pay for certain items using PayPal. I copied over code from a page I used on our old web site that had input forms and PayPal payment buttons. When I previewed it, none of the forms or buttons showed up. Any suggestions?

Check the Input format setting when you edit the page. You may need to set it to Full HTML to get some things to work.

Thanks you, thank you, thank you! That was the trick! As soon as I changed it to Full HTML, it worked!

I see what you mean. The block page doesn't use the fancy text editor with image insertion. My page just uses the badge code provided by facebook. If you want to do your own icon you should be able to upload the image and then use something like
<img src="/path-to-my-image> to get it into the page. Don't forget to set the input format to allow HTML.
