Best Practices

Hmmm...best practices:

  • Librarianizing - keeping track of music, downloads, replacing lost music, etc.
  • Show production
  • Organization of "sing outs" - Valentines Day, Mothers Day
  • Song "checking" - methods of evaluating chorus members knowledge of words and music
  • Etc

All excellent suggestions.

All excellent suggestions.  Anyone got good project definitions for these that could be Groupanizerized?  Or even just "how to" documents?

Some kind of chapter member

Some kind of chapter member orientation would be nice.  We have some documentaion we would like to be sure members are familiar with.  Would be nice to see who has read it or at least aware of by opening it.  Maybe an executive dashboard item.

The download report should

The download report should currently tell you opened something.

I post all my documentation in PDF form so its easy, no need to update the report from default of displaying who downloaded PDF and MP3 files

Recruiting process control =

Recruiting process control = I have a process in mind but it is currently manual involving a sign-in book, index cards, spreadsheet entry, email cut and paste of same to individuals involved in adding folks to chorus agenda and email list. then there is audition process (manual again - emailing pdf and song part files to individuals) and keeping up with who has worked out with a practice quartet etc. -- worried that folks are falling through the cracks!

And then -- it would be nice to have an automatic transition to member status in Groupanizer so as to not have to re-enter all the information for a second time.

With the looming Operation Harold Hill and expectations for bringing new folks into the performing and competition chorus at a faster rate -- I need some help!
