Different theme for public vs. member pages?

Is it possible to have a public page with one theme, and the member pages with a different theme?  The purposes are significantly different, and I'd like a more utilitarian (and data rich) member site without all the eye-candy we're putting on the public pages.

Yes. You need to have more

Yes. You need to have more than the Groupanizer Theme 1 selected: admin >site building > themes. Select the theme you want and make it default, scroll to the bottom of that page and click Save configuration. Then watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=KrUrk3IJSu0#!

Yeah, we're there. Actually,

Yeah, we're there. Actually, we had about 4 or 5 selected, and I pared it down to two - one for public (default) and one for private. Problem is that the selected theme set as the default is now the theme for all the internal pages. Switching the default to internal hoses the public site. I noticed that you can manually change an individual user to use one of the alternate themes. Do you know if there's a way to bulk-change everyone?  My issue is that the public page has (or will have) a bunch of useless eyecandy and formatting that is counterproductive to what a member needs to see. I really need them to be separate, but with the public page calling content from the backend to populate the non-static portions.

BTW - thanks for all the help!

Okay, I'm back. I think I may

Okay, I'm back. I think I may be messing with the wrong "stuff."

Is Administer|Site Building for the public site, and Administer|Groupanizer|Dashboard for the internal site?

I ask because there is almost no configuration options for the dashboard - like the ability to identify a theme, being able to customize the layout, etc. It's just...there. Heck, I've got this "attendance plan" banner that is on the top of every page, even admin pages - there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off from the dashboard configuration area. (I presume it's a setting buried in the attendance module...but why? shouldn't it be on the dashboard config page?)

How is it possible to change

How is it possible to change the theme of the two different pages in the same site? I never saw such type of pages in any website.

Hi Katie, I think you are

Hi Katie,
I think you are looking for how to create 2 different themes in the same site.  You can find that by going to this tutorial:
http://groupanizer.com/how-create-different-theme-your-public-site-and-k...
Additionally, making sure you set the public theme as the 'default' will help you get that outside site having a second theme.
Hope that helps (And that I got your question right!)
