While I know there are many forms of communication afforded by Groupanizer, wouldn't it be awesome to have this module available?

If it's not insanely difficult to install/manage, I'd be happy to test drive this module.

DrupalChat Module

I just played with the demo site for this. http://drupalchat.botskool.co.in/
Logged in as test2 in one browser and test3 in a different browser. It works ok. Basically you get a box in the lower left of your browser where you can chat.
Where I see it having real value is for those us on the Groupanizer forums.
These forums are full of messages going back and forth trouble shooting issues. Might be easier to do with a chat session.
I probably won't use it with my chorus website to chat with my members. On my Dashboard I already have the "Who's Online" block displayed and it is very rare that I see anyone else on my site at the same time I am, and I am on it quite a bit. Might be different in a bigger chorus. For me its easier to pick up a phone and call a member of my chorus.

I wanted to add a "ME TO" I would love to see this available in the forums.

It sounds interesting, but there might be a downside to using it here. With the current forums, every conversation is saved so that people trying to solve a problem can just read about the solution that was given previously. Wouldn't this be lost if we switched to chat instead?

True that. All the interim stuff would not end up on the forums. People would have to remember to post the solution to the problem.
