It's been quite a while since I tried to connect to my site via FTP. I know I had success in the past, but I can't seem to get connected now. I'm using Filezilla. I'm trying to connect to "mysite.groupanizer.com" on port 21 using the credentials I got from Tom way back when. The error I'm getting is:
ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server
Is there a recently created setting somewhere I need to flip now to enable FTP access? Is there some other special trick to getting connected that I'm failing to find in the Help files and forum threads?
Any help would be appreciated.

FTP Access Issue

Hi Phil,
We can no longer offer FTP in the new clustered environment - it's not as simple as that any more, with multiple synchronized web servers. It's a bit of a pain, I know. Comes with the territory, with this grown-up, high-availability hosting environment.
However, there's a flash-based multi-file-upload thing called SWFUpload that I'm planning to integrate into the Song class, so you can put a dozen MP3s up all at once with a few clicks. That I think will replace 90% of what people were using FTP for.
The best interim solution is to use Admin > Content management > Files and upload them three at a time into the files/import folder, then use the File Import tab on the song in question to attach the files.
Hope that all makes sense!
Tom
You can actually upload a lot more than 3 at a time. Under the 3rd Choose File box you'll see Add Item. Clicking on Add Item allows you add more files. I've done as many as 10 files at a time when I was uploading pictures.
BUT if I was to use this rather than File Attachment for songs, why don't I see a "File Import tab on the song in question"?

It's not the quantity of files that's an issue, it's the size. I'd like to be able to upload files that are larger than 12mb. I'd be uploading these large files from a location with extremely high connection speeds so the possibility of uploads timing out will not be a problem.

And the max file size you can set there is 12mb.
