Hi,
I would like Guests to be able to view the Calendar, but not be able to click on any of the events. Once a Guest clicks on an event they can see who signed up for it, and then click through to user profiles.
I'll add that I do have our installation set up so Guests have the following permissions:
access content, access song content, view uploaded files
We want guests to be able to see the learning tracks so they can keep up (they just get emailed around otherwise) and it appeared that I needed all three of these permissions to enable that.
I seem to be having trouble keeping Guests from being able to view Member-only info via the Calendar.
Thanks

Waaaaaah. Every thread has a response but mine. Any ideas? Is this a known security flaw in Gnizer or Drupal?? Thanks.
I have set up Guest acces for my site and I just tested what you describe using my Test Guest account and when I click on Atendance for an event I get a screen thats says I do not have permission to view that information.
My guess is that you need to go through you list of Permissions and check out Guests (Prospective Members) to make sure that they have very limited access. Remove as much as you can so that they can only do the things you want them to.
I wish I could tell exactly what to turn off, but my Propective Members have almost no access, pretty much everything is un-checked.

Yeah, it's all in your site configuration and exactly how you've granted your guests access to your site. Here's another thread you should check out (if you haven't already) regarding guest/prospective member access:

It's a long one, so make sure you're comfy.
