How do a remove a person from a contact group? I have a person who joined our chorus. He is in a contact group for nonmembers and gets emails intended for them. I can unsubscribe him from emails of type "contact", but I can't remove the contact. I don't want to keep it as we now have his information with members. I've looked at admin permissions and don't see anything else to add. Do I need a feature request or am I missing something?

If you've already created a user profile account for him to which you've assigned the Member role you should be good to perform the following steps.
From the navigation pane, click Contacts
For the Contact Group in question, click View List
Find his name in the list and click on it
Click Edit
Click Delete
Contacts are separate from users so I believe effectively what you're trying to accomplish is to take someone who was just a contact and make them a member. Again, if you've already setup this person as a user with the role Member assigned to them you should be able to delete their contact record from the contact group.
