We're starting to use the attendance module more frequently, and can't figure out a way to get a list of those people who will be attending. I can get a list of everybody, and manually copy down the list, or export the list of everybody, then bring it into excel and sort it, but the former is huge pain, and the latter is beyond the computer skills of some of our members who run events. Even a color coded list would be marginally better.
As side topic, I noticed that you can send an email to members who have not yet responded, but you can't send an email to the people who are planning on going - a "reminder" email. This is especially useful (dare I say, necessary, for my crew!) for a less-visible event which was put on the calendar well in advance.

How to get a list of attending members for an event

Go to the event using your calendar click on the attendance tab and there the list.
You can print with CTRL-P
Add your request to the Features Request section so it doesn't get lost

And another little useful feature you may want to use: when you're looking at the list on the Attendance tab, click on the header of the "Plan" column and the list will be sorted by "Plan." All of your "Will Attends" will be in one nice, neat clump.
There's a feature request in there somewhere for all lists to work like this -- I think it's fabulous!

As a side, the events appear in the weekly email, which could be enough of a reminder for someone of things coming up.

Antony,
Weekly email? What weekly email? We get notifications of published actions, but I've never seen a calendar event pop up in either my "real" admin account or the "fake" member account.

You can configure the weekly email by going to Admin > Groupanizer Settings > Updater Settings.
Mine is set to go to role Member and I have all updates selected

This is another one of those fabulous "secret" features that ought to be more widely known. You can even choose what you want included in the update -- it's very spiffy!
There's a whole lot of interesting stuff under "Groupanizer Settings" so if you're an administrator it's a good idea to spend a little time working your way through the entire list. I bet you'll notice options for things you didn't even realize you needed options for :-)
