Sometimes I miss stuff that is obvious... this might be one of those times.
I am trying to figure out how to use the new FTP file upload process.
- I have a username and password from Tom.
- I have enabled the File Import module
I noticed that admin > site configuration > File import has this message "The directory sites/whs.groupanizer.com/files/import does not exist."
But what I really need is a step-by-step instructions for using the new FTP file import process.

Hi Ian,
So far I've learned that lots of people had a "files" directory that was not writable! That's been resolved. Wondering now if the import module will create its own directory if it can.

Hi Tom,
Yup the error is gone and I think I have properly enabled the module and given myself permission to it, but I can't find the place to actually do the import process, or where to input in the username and password you gave me?

You'll need to use an actual FTP client program, Filezilla being the best fully functional free option out there, imho. It's not too terribly difficult to figure out, but basically you'll be trying to connect to your Groupanizer URL (i.e. centralstandard.groupanizer.com) through that plugging in the Tom-provided username/password to login. When I do this it takes me directly to the "files" folder of my site.
