It appears that the Names button (to toggle between pictures and names) in the Riser Placement module requires additional permissions to work. For users with only the Member role, the Names button does not work. The Member role has the View Places permission. The Names button only works for other roles that have additional permissions for Places.
I can't think of a reason that this functionality should be restricted. Is this intentional? Can it be changed?

If you are using IE 8 or 9 that is part of the issue with Places as it does does work well with IE.. But the other is that for some reason, they need the edit permission to view names. I tried just giving them Administrator, but that did not work either using Chrome.
Maybe Tom can give us a hint as to why the edit permission is needed to click the button to view the names.

I had tried it with multiple browsers. It does seem odd that edit permission would be required to see the names. I think it should be just a matter of removing the permission restriction on that particular button/function. Tom?
