Hey all,
I've been through Groupanizer permissions etc a couple of times now, and I can't find out how to give a specific role access to the Song Status and Song Status Queue menu items under the Music menu.
Anyone know what permission I need to set ot give this to the role?

Here's how mine is set
Under Groupanizer Settings you'll find Song Status. Mine is set to Member,
In Permissions under songstatus module I have:
- Access Any Songstatrus content checked for Director, Executive, section Leader and Site admin
- access own songstatus content checked for Member and Site Admin
- create songstatus content checked for Member and Site Admin

Mine are the same as Ian's - Director, Music Team, Section Leader, Site Admin - acess any. Member access own & create.
Antony - note they will see all song status not just their section. That has caused some angst!

I think if you give "Access own songstatus" they see just theirs, which is how it should be for more. If you want them to see all, then give "Access any songstatus content". They'll also need "create songstatus content" even just to upload a recording I think.

Hello everyone,
I'm trying to get the song status feature working on our new site. Currently, there are no choices in the drop-down menu for the status tab on the music page.
Anyone have a similar problem?

Hi Antony,
Another spot to check under Groupanizer Settings, Song Status. It will bring you to a screen that says, "Role to be used in SongStatus." It needs to be set to Member. Then, click on Song Status Checking. There you can assign a role to do the checking. This may get you going in the right direction, along with what all the other responders have said.

Permissions to Song Status is working with the Permissions set for certain roles, but I also have not found a way to set the menu items available to only a particular role... Though you really don't need the Menu Items, as Program View, Grid and Song Status Report are tabs available only to those that have rights to them when you click Music. So I have disabled the menu items and they have to click on Music to get to the rest of those functions. Only one extra click,
That way people don't get permission denied, because they clicked on something they shouldn't see anyway.
