Sub sections

We split our chorus into 8 sections (Upper and Lower for Bass, Baritone, First Tenor and Second Tenor). I can make sub-sections that are children of the normal sections.  Would it be possible that when selecting a section on the member list, it could also display the sub-sections?

thanks,

True, the taxonomy can be set

True, the taxonomy can be set up hierarchically.  Things are much more straightforward with a simple list, both from a programming and most likely a user friendliness point of view.  Would it work just as well to set up eight sections in a simple list?

It would work, but not as well

I guess it's just a matter of opinion, but I can foresee a lot of confusion from members, who are used to looking in one of the four sections and now needing to know if a person sings upper or lower.  We need the designation for admin purposes (make sure we have a balance across all 8 groups), but for most purposes only 4 are needed.  Is there another place we could put the lower/upper information?
