I've searched this Forum but still didn't find quite what I need. Hope someone can help...
I would like to change the WILL ATTEND option on Attendance to WILL/COULD ATTEND. We do a lot of "inquiries" for possible performances, and members are marking MIGHT ATTEND instead of WILL ATTEND, mistakenly thinking that until the performance is actually accepted the date is still a "might"! We've tried to change that habit, but it's not working. So the performance chair would like to make that little tweak.
But, I can't find where I might do that!
Also, the same performance chair would like to receive an email when someone changes their attendance status on a calendar event. I'm thinking some kind of trigger, but can't really pin that one down either!!
Thanks for any help.

I don't think you have the option of changing the wording.
I suggest you handle this problem of possible events by adjusting the name of the event. You could add the word "Tentative" to the beginning of the event name when an event is not yet final. That should clear up any misunderstanding.
When such an event changes status you could remove that word from the title and send a message to your membership to state that the event is indeed confirmed.

Thanks, Ian. I'll pass that along to the Performance Chair.
What do you think about the option for her to be notified if someone changes their attendance status?

I think its easier for her to just check the list and see what people's plans are. I expect that if the performance Chair got an email the very next thing they do is check the expected attendance for that performance. So why not just skip the email step and keep checking the list as necessary. It would avoid a whole bunch of emails, imagine getting an email every time someone changed the attendance plan.
